How to play Vibrations.
Choose your decks, read a question, and share your answer or reflect on your own. You can play Vibrations alone, with a friend, with a partner, or in a group.
Choose who is playing.
Open deck selection and use the “Who's playing?” filter to find questions for your company. Try Playful Questions for a light start, or Self-Reflection for a moment on your own.
Build your mix.
Tap or click a deck to select it. Choose one or combine several to mix different kinds of questions. Selecting a deck reveals its description. Hold a deck to flip it; it stays on that side after release. Hold again to flip back. Free decks are ready to play without a purchase.
Start your session.
Select Start to review your chosen decks on the next screen, then select Start again when you are ready. You can drag the artwork around and let it spring back while you wait. Vibrations shuffles the remaining questions from your selected available decks together and presents one card at a time.
Read, answer, and follow your curiosity.
Read the question aloud and share your answer, or reflect on it yourself. With other people, you can take turns answering the same card. Hold the card to reveal its deck artwork and a colorful background; release to return to the question.
Use the forward and backward controls to move between questions. Take your time with a card that interests you, move past one you do not want to answer, and end the session whenever you like.
Practical questions
Do I need an account or a physical deck?
No. You can open Vibrations in your browser and play its free digital question decks without creating an account or bringing physical cards.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. Self-Reflection invites you to explore your thoughts and habits. Life Stories and Playful Questions can also be used for solo reflection.
Do I have to finish every question?
No. End whenever you like. Free and owned decks remember the questions you have seen on this browser or app installation, so a later session can continue through the remaining cards.
How do I play a deck again?
Use Restart on a deck with saved progress in the pre-game screen. Completed decks automatically start a new round in your next new session. Progress is saved on this device and is not synced between the website and the iOS app.
